Plans. Plus, Business, and Pro. Add a bug, Bug Brief, and a specialist review are on these plans. See Plus.

Open Bugs and press Add a bug. You have three ways to write it. Pick the one that matches how sure you are.

Write it yourself

Choose Fill in myself. You set the WCAG rule, the title, the page, how serious it is, what happens, and what should happen instead. If the same problem is on many pages, keep one example page and set prevalence to Common.

Write it the way you would explain it to a colleague who has to fix it. Say what you did, what happened, and what should have happened. Save when the fields are complete. The bug appears in the list and lowers the health score for that page.

Get a draft from Bug Brief

Choose Start with Bug Brief when you can describe the problem in your own words and want help turning that into a bug. SiteScan Assist is the writing help inside Bug Brief. It can suggest the WCAG rule, the title, the description, and the recommendation.

  1. Describe what went wrong, in ordinary language. Choose the page where you found it.
  2. Continue. SiteScan Assist drafts the fields and may ask a few short questions.
  3. Read the draft. Change anything that is wrong. Save only when you agree with it.

The saved bug is marked as AI-assisted. That means a person reviewed the draft and saved it. SiteScan does not file the bug on its own.

Ask AccessUX to check it or help write it

After the bug is saved, press Request Bug review when you want an AccessUX specialist to check it and help complete it. The review uses credits. If you do not have enough credits, Settings explains how to buy more, or you can ask the account owner to buy them.

You can also ask about a Scan Bug. On the Scan Bug, open Get help on this issue, write your question, and send it. That help is included with Plus, Business, and Pro. The reply arrives in Messages. Asking a question does not move the bug on the board. You still choose the status.

Use a review when the write-up will go to a developer, a vendor, or a report, and you want a specialist to confirm the rule and the fix before it travels.

Send it to Jira

When Jira is connected, open the saved bug and press Send to Jira. The story is created from this bug. Send bugs to Jira covers the connection, the column match, and what stays in step afterwards.
